About the Program

TowMeUp Flight Alerts is an SMS program operated by TowMeUp LLC for hang glider and paraglider pilots who use the TowMeUp platform. Subscribers receive daily flying coordination polls, morning flight condition summaries, and evening condition rating requests for the flying sites they follow.

Message frequency: 1–2 messages per day. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for help.

How Pilots Opt In

Enrollment is available only inside the TowMeUp web app, behind a pilot's account login. Pilots open the Alert Settings panel on their dashboard, enter their mobile phone number, and check an unchecked consent box. Consent is never pre-checked, is not required to use any TowMeUp feature, and is recorded with a timestamp. The screenshot below shows the exact opt-in experience:

After opting in, the pilot receives a confirmation message:

TowMeUp: You're subscribed to daily flying polls. 1-2 msgs/day. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for info.

Example Messages

TowMeUp: Good morning! Are you flying at Lookout Mountain today? Reply 1 for LMFP, 2 for Henson Gap, 3 for Whitwell, or 0 if not flying. Reply STOP to opt out.
TowMeUp: How were conditions today? Reply 1-5 (1=poor, 5=epic). Reply STOP to opt out.

How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe immediately. You will receive one final confirmation message and nothing further. You can also uncheck the consent box in your Alert Settings panel, or email hello@towmeup.app. Reply HELP at any time for assistance.

Privacy

Your mobile phone number is never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. It is used solely to deliver the TowMeUp messages you opted in to receive.
